This Is War?

How’s everyone doing out there? I know, I know… long time, no see, I truly feel bad, but so much happened… can’t wait to share it with you all guys though.

Lots of small and few huge changes in my life. Had the craziest summer of all time, got my degree, travelled, fell in love, found an amazing cause, met fantastic peeps who truly changed my life, so yeah, it’s been a blast!

Not to mention LFW (as in London Fashion Week) is approaching like crazy, sooo super excited to experience it for the first time of my life. I promise I’ll keep you posted on all the juicy details.

In the meantime, how about a sneak peek? Remember that huge workshop we had? Well, summer is almost over, so all us industry “slaves” (of course we are willingly enslaving ourselves, as we all madly in love with this fab and crazy world of ours)  are back to work, which means photos are arriving from my fab photographer, finally! 🙂

Here’s a little teaser for you. One of the many many shoots we had taken a few months ago. What do you think of this “military look”? Yey or ney? I personally love military, wait till you see the rest of the work!

Love,

E

The Fashion and Beauty Workshop

A few weeks ago I had a huge fashion workshop with 3 photographers, my “standby” make up artist J’adore Kitty, 5 models and 6 different themes, with 3 outfit each….pheeeew, long days and fab work happened! I promise, I will fill you in on all the details soon, but till then, just a little bit to tease your stylish selfs out there! 😉

My beloved photographer of BlazePhotoArt just gave me the first sneak peek, and as I am soooo pleased with the result, I had to share this with you guys. And can I get a big virtual hooray for the ever so stunning Miss Freya Shah please. I couldn’t ask for a more professional model!

For more, you can always head over to my Facebook page too!

Mario Testino for MATE

Now this is the OMG! Mario Testino is one of my most inspiring artists. I adore his work and I admire his personality. Such a creative, amazing person. I recently had the pleasure to enjoy his panel at the Vogue Festival, and safe to say I learnt… a lot!

So obviously I was super excited about his collaboration with (or more likely for) net-a-porter.com. And I must say I am delighted with what I see. Literally, I have no words for all the designs, colours, fabrics! I must love (and buy) them all!!!!

The whole collection was inspired by the vibrant costumes and artisan craftwork captured in his iconic Alta Moda pictures. Trust me, worth google these images, if you haven’t seen them so far!

Not to mention that a percentage of each sale will be donated to the Testino’s Lima-based charity, MATE. Genius man!

My personal favs below, but I am always interested in your thoughts, so comment here or on my Facebook page!

Trick or Trinket

Hey there everyone,

I also have a little commitment to fulfil, as on one of my last shoots I was lucky enough to use some fab hand-made jewellery, which I am sure that all you stylish ladies would be interested in.

So why not check out the superb work of Trick or Trinket, hmmm? Hand crafted and one off pieces of spell infused trinkets and jewellery. Custom orders taken on request as well.

The piece I worked with was a huge, chunky, all girly pink-purple bracelet with a cute butterfly tag, as I needed something “statement”.

Safe to say we all went crazy on it!

The day has come lovelies, the amazing “Forgotten dolls” are ready, and I really do hope you will like them.

All the hard work, the “months of planning”, organising, I must say I am proud and happy.

FASHION156

FASHION156

Hello lovelies!

I have some fab news for you. From now on I am on team of the super Fashion156.

Trust me, if you are interested in fashion that is your ultimate destination.

One click and you are up-to-date with the latest trends.

As a start let me show you my recent fav post from the site, ladies and gents: Alexander McQueen! At least a bit of his incredible work.

Truly one of my most admired ones.

Do you like his visions? I certainly do!

Rihanna for River Island

Fun facts about E:

I like Rihanna…

But this is just rubbish, and this is the second attempt now.

After the ever so anticipated, but not exactly ground breaking first part, the second aka summer collection stayed under the bar too.

Image

I probably have never seen so many ugly and boring clothes under one roof.

Image

This collection is dull, and I would certainly not pay a single penny for it. Saying that being a proper shopaholic/collector, which means that I do buy all the “special editions” purely for the joy of owning it, but this is just not working.

Image

Well, see for yourself, but these pieces will  certainly be missing from my wardrobe, and I kinda am proud of myself for this!

Love,

E xx
